The HX451B Board Paper Folding Machine is designed for high-speed folding of thick paperboard used in board book production. With simple and fast setup, it uses a plough-folding system to fold pre-creased board sheets into signatures and supports a wide range of sheet sizes and paperboard materials, including grey board, white cardboard, and similar substrates.
After folding, the signatures are automatically pressed along the fold line to flatten and compact the spine. The spine-pressing pressure is adjustable, and the folded signatures do not require an additional pressing process, helping simplify production and improve efficiency. The machine also features automatic counting of processed sheets for convenient production monitoring.
With a maximum folding speed of 20,000 sheets/hour, the HX451B handles sheets up to 640×480mm (W×H) and paper weights from 250gsm to 500gsm. It provides a fast, efficient, and reliable folding solution for professional board book and children’s book production.
